I'm ammending this post to implore all of you to get out this Saturday and check out the No Permit festival over at Rocked Records. Even if you can only stop by for an hour or so, it's greatly important.
Terrence from Rocked Records has pledged to donate any funds raised to the Mountaineer Boys & Girls Club, where I've been employed for the last five years. This is a wonderful organization that does a lot of good things for youth in the community. I'm also going to throw in an appreciative recogintion of Billy Matheny and Kyle Vass for donating their time to teach guitar at the Club, as well as Jay Kuntz and Michelle Wolford for donating instruments to the cause.
Not only is this going to be a great day of music, it's for a very good cause. It draws attention to local small business, as well as the Morgantown Music Scene - this generation and the next.

ditto on the rocked records bit. I hope to be attending for a chunk of it before I depart for my show in weston, just think how awesome it'll be to see so many of margantown's top rockers and envelope pushers in one day... for free.... and out doors for that matter.. beats the heck out of cowboy mouth I tell ya that much right now...
anyways the reason why I actually wanted to comment was this:
Come to the Mayday 3rd anniversary saturday evening. I will have the "Instant Party" lighting rig I've re-organized some of it and finally done some up keep. I should have all of my usual gear in working order again, with a few additions, and provided that the fog juice I bought will work with my machine I should have the fog back in action (don't know how folks really feel about the fog, I get mixed feedback on it, but it will be there nonetheless).
For anyone who's memory is fading from the warmer days of last year, crazy things tend to happen when you combine warm nights with hot music and a smoking lighting display and lots of bodies gyrating together...
This is a big weekend for cutting loose YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! the more the merrier

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to the "No Permit" concert on Saturday. It wasn't a huge turnout - hopefully it will be better next year - but it did raise some money and awareness for a good cause. We had a great time.
Thanks to Rocked Records & Off-Beat Music for putting this on and to Clayton for donating his time and sound system.

I didn't think the attendance was poor at all considering it was the weekend before finals, I was impressed with how many folks came out and had a great time.
