Show Help - Aug. 24th

To Those of You in Bands,

Atlanta-based Untied States need a band or two to play with for a show they're playing at Fuel on Thursday, August 24th. That's the Thursday prior to the first week of classes if I'm not mistaken (and I often am).

You can listen to them yourself and decide but they remind me a lot of Fugazi-era noise rock band but much weirder and with less traditional song structures. They seem like nice young gentlemen with some touring experience. Maybe if you can scratch their back they'll find some way of scratching yours. Maybe it'll just be good karma. Anyway, if you can't play this show or aren't in a band, maybe you know someone who could? I don't know these folks but they appealed to me for help and I'm trying to be a good samaritan. I'm sure they're good as gumdrops so fire up your browser and call your drummer to see if he has squaredancing lessons that night, for the love of god, man.
