Skeletonwitch, Nakano, Evasdad, and J Marinelli at 123 Tonight!

Skeletonwitch, Nakano, Evasdad, and J Marinelli will be playing a show at 123 Pleasant Street tonight, Friday, the 19th. Skeletonwitch are from Athens, OH and they play 80s-inspired epic thrash metal. Nakano is one a them there sensitive instrumental groups and at the end of the show you can bet your bottom dollar that band member Cooper Mackey will give you sweaty man-hugs. Evasdad is a laptop electronica artist with a heart of gold. One-man band J Marinelli is a huge jerk and quite possibly a Satanist. We like him anyway.

But don't just take my word for it. Here are some links where you can listen to 'em yourself.

Sorry J, but I don't commit hatespeech on this site. Save your grumpy oppressed minority talk for the ADL, ya Zionist!

Hey all -- I realize I'm more or less preaching to the choir here, but while last night's show was great, could have been better if it had started earlier and was a bit better organized.

I have a few ideas regarding how to improve the situation. If anyone wants to shoot me an e-mail or send me a message either here or on myspace (www.myspace.com/jmarinelli).

Nakano: You guys were jaw-droppingly good last night. Hope Pat's in Cleveland lives up to all my hype. Note the Braille Drivers 7" on the wall. And drink their Straub -- it's cheap and delicious.

    Cheers,

    J
